After applying — your journey with us
Application Review & Selection
Every submission will be carefully reviewed and evaluated against the competition criteria: Original Concept, A Real Point of View, Format That Can Scale, and Powerful Arabic Storytelling. The most original and distinctive concepts will be selected to move forward.
Pilot Production
20 selected creators will have their pilot filmed during The Lighthouse Media Studio competition, with the support of the production team.
Screening & Shortlist
Following production, the pilots will undergo a second round of evaluation. The top 10 pilots will be shortlisted and screened before the audience and jury as part of The Lighthouse Media Studio competition experience.
The Grand Finale
The 10 shortlisted pilots will be evaluated by both the jury panel and the audience. Based on the combined results, three winning concepts will each receive a different production prize to support the next stage of developing their ideas into full shows or podcasts.
